There was a time when finding organic skincare brands, especially in Pakistan, was quite the challenge. But now, with a lot more awareness on their benefits, more and more skincare brands are choosing to go organic and we couldn’t be happier! Organic skincare products use natural ingredients, which means you aren’t putting a ton of chemicals – that you can’t even pronounce – on your face. They’re also cruelty-free and don’t leave a harmful footprint on the planet, as they’re free from toxic pesticides and fertilisers. That’s why we were excited to try out the new skincare brand on the market – Organic Traveller!
We were sent three different products, each of which was tested by a different member of our team, according to their skin type. This is what they thought of the products after testing them out for week!
Coffee Intensive Under Eye Serum
Coffee Under Eye Serum Rs.1750
The coffee under-eye serum has a roller applicator that I love! Some under eye creams come in a little pot and you’re forced to scoop the product out; a process I don’t like and don’t find hygienic. Organic Traveller’s under eye intensive roller, however, eliminates that problem altogether! The roller feels cooling and great on the under eye area.
Another selling point is the base ingredient itself. Caffeine does wonders for dark circles as it improves blood circulation by narrowing the blood vessels. It also has antioxidant properties that reduce the effect of aging on sensitive skin. I could see a noticeable difference in the puffiness around my eyes so I would definitely recommend this for someone suffering from that problem!
The one thing I will say though is that the serum didn’t have the ingredients written on the packaging and as a consumer, I’d like to know what exactly is in the product.
Clear Facial Serum For Oily/Acne Prone Skin
Clear Oily/Combination Skin Serum Rs.1350
The clear serum has a glass dropper which makes application extremely easy. It left my skin feeling moisturised and healthy. My main issue, however, is that the product doesn’t state what it’s meant to do, making it difficult to see whether it’s fulfilled its purpose or not. Considering there is little product needed, it could be a good investment if you’re struggling to find a serum that doesn’t make your oily face even oilier. The brand also claims on their page that this serum is effective in clearing up acne. For those struggling with breakouts, it is a potential product to purchase on the next online shopping spree! Be careful though – it has a strong smell!
Quench Facial Serum For Dry/Dull Skin
Quench For Dry/Dehydrated Skin Rs. 1350
My skin normally feels lifeless in the morning after cleansing, but ever since I started using the Quench Facial Serum, my skin feels healthier and refreshed! It has made a noticeable difference in brightening my face and has turned out to be the perfect serum to prime my face with before makeup. It doesn’t add a glow to the skin, but it does make my foundation glide a lot smoother. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with dry skin looking for a serum to add to their morning routine!
